Embracing the Desert Vibes: My Second Coherence Retreat in Joshua Tree
On May 2nd, 2024, I landed in the stunning Palm Springs for my second Coherence retreat, and I couldn’t have been more excited! The energy was palpable as I anticipated connecting with incredible women and capturing the magic of this transformative experience once again.
After about an hour’s drive from the airport to the desert, I could already feel the warm sun enveloping me, a perfect welcome to the vibrant surroundings. The anticipation was building up—this year, a highlight of our retreat was our planned excursion to Joshua Tree National Park. The thought of exploring this natural wonder had me buzzing!
Joshua Tree is a photographer's paradise, and I aimed to capture as much of the breathtaking landscape as possible. From the iconic Joshua trees and striking rock formations to the sprawling desert vistas, I knew I would be bringing home a trove of stunning nature photography. One of the most fun-filled moments of the retreat was our disco cowgirl themed shoot. Picture this: a mix of vibrant colors, unique costumes, and an infectious spirit of fun! The outfits turned out SO CUTE, and it was a blast breaking out the costumes and dancing like there was no tomorrow. This creative adventure truly embodied the retreat's spirit of self-expression and joy.
Overall, Joshua Tree has the vibessss! The energy of the desert, combined with the shared laughter and camaraderie among the attendees, created an unforgettable chapter in our retreat journey. I left feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and grateful for the incredible moments we shared.
As I reflect on this experience, I can’t help but feel a sense of wanderlust and eagerness for the next opportunity to explore, connect, and create. Until then, I'll be dreaming of the desert sunsets and those fab disco vibes! 🌵✨
